Derby Community Bank was formed in 2006 in Erewash, formally known as the Erewash Credit Union, and has since expanded across Derbyshire to serve over 3,000 members.

In 2005, they re-branded to reflect their growing membership across Derbyshire to become the Derbyshire Community Bank. They have more than £1.4 million in savings and loans. The membership is open to anyone living or working in Derbyshire. 

As a financial co-op, they offer a full range of banking services. Their products include; Loans, Savings Accounts, Payroll Membership, Christmas Savings Accounts, Junior Savings Accounts and ISAs.
